Vaste Programme is an Italian artistic duo formed in 2017 by Giulia Vigna (b. 1992) and Leonardo Magrelli (b. 1989). Their practice interrogates climate change and the role of technology in contemporary society, exploring these issues through the iconosphere—the world of images and visual culture. Using post-photographic and installation-based approaches, they employ strategies of appropriation, re-signification, détournement, and ironic commentary to probe how visual media shapes perception. Vaste Programme has been recognized with multiple awards, including the 2023 Talent Prize (2nd place, Rome) and the Premio Combat (Section Winner, Livorno), and has exhibited internationally at venues such as CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia (Turin), Charta Festival (Rome), Helsinki Photo Festival.
