ELEVEN TEN STUDIO ARTIST RUN SPACE IN BASEL

Juliette Lepage Boisdron (b. 1971) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses painting, drawing, and art jewelry. Born in Paris, her formative years were shaped by a culturally nomadic upbringing across North China, the U.S.S.R., the Arab Emirates, and sub-Saharan Africa, experiences that have profoundly informed her poetic and globally resonant artistic vision. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from Sorbonne University, after which she embarked on a life of continual travel, immersing herself in the diverse cultures and traditions of the places she lived.

Juliette’s career spans a variety of roles and practices. In the 1990s, she directed an art gallery in Singapore before moving to India as an artist agent. Upon returning to Paris, she contributed to the Fondation Cartier’s website. Between 2010 and 2014, she lived in Portugal, studying traditional jewelry-making techniques under Catarina Silva, and from 2017 to 2019, she trained in ancient and contemporary Chinese painting techniques with Lim Choon Jin at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, mastering the intricate methods of rice paper marouflage.

Currently, Juliette divides her time between Basel, Paris, and Lisbon. An active member of DOCK Basel, VISARTE, SGBK, Le Cercle de l’Art Paris, and Klimt02, she exhibits internationally and is represented by galleries in Basel and the United States. Her work is included in numerous private collections worldwide, reflecting her enduring engagement with cross-cultural exploration and artistic craft.
