Juliette Lepage Boisdron is a multidisciplinary artist whose work includes painting, drawing, and art jewelry. Born in Paris in 1971, she has spent over 30 years creating a distinctive and poetic artistic universe. Juliette’s culturally rich upbringing - spanning North China, the U.S.S.R., the Arab Emirates, and sub-Saharan Africa - has profoundly shaped her creative vision, infusing her work with diverse cultural influences. Juliette holds a Master’s degree in Art History from Sorbonne University, After completing her studies in Paris, she embarked on a nomadic life, moving every two to five years and immersing herself in the cultures of the places she lived. This eclectic journey has deeply informed her artistic practice, which consistently reflects her encounters with different people, traditions, and perspectives In the 1990s, Juliette worked as an art gallery director in Singapore before moving to India, where she worked as an artist agent. Upon returning to Paris, she contributed to the Fondation Cartier’s website. Between 2010 and 2014, she lived in Portugal, where she studied traditional jewelry-making techniques under Lisbon-based artist Catarina Silva. Back to Singapore in 2017-2019 she trained in both ancient and contemporary Chinese painting techniques with artist Lim Choon Jin at the LASALLE College of the Arts. There, she mastered the intricate, ancestral methods of rice paper marouflage. Today, Juliette divides her time between Basel, Paris, and Lisbon. She is an active member of DOCK Basel, VISARTE, SGBK (Swiss women Artists Association), Le Cercle de l’Art Paris, and Klimt02. Her work has been exhibited extensively across Europe, America, and Asia and is represented by galleries in Basel and the United States. Her creations are featured in numerous private collections worldwide.
