Daniel Zeltner (b. 1984) is a trained screen printer with many years of experience as an illustrator. He is drawn to the spontaneous, direct, and personal quality found in the strokes of a drawing. Rooted in American graffiti, his work embodies energy, freedom, and a do-it-yourself spirit, responding intuitively to different situations.
His artistic practice explores bold color contrasts, tactile materiality, and deliberate arbitrariness. For Daniel, shaping and reimagining public space is both a right and a contribution to society and community. He devotes his time to mural painting and works on paper and wood panels.
Zeltner also engages in participatory projects. Many of his murals are created collaboratively with people of all ages, and he regularly offers workshops in mural painting and drawing.
