Luca Leisinger (b..1990) works across painting, installation, and spatial interventions. His practice grows out of everyday observations, visual impressions, and an interest in materials and their possibilities. Rather than working towards a fixed idea, he develops his work through an intuitive, hands-on process of making, experimenting, and reworking.
His work moves between abstraction and childlike spontaneity, exploring colour, gesture, fragmentation, and the raw, imperfect qualities of materials and images. Existing works and materials are often revisited, altered, and brought into new contexts. Rather than conveying a specific message, his work leaves room for personal associations and interpretations. The process remains open, with each work understood as a moment in an ongoing development.
