The 16:9 ratio is a heavy and rather uncommon format for canvas. Four paintings and four black screens, partly inspired by Black Mirror, partly by the real world. Four black screens: a phone, a tablet, a laptop and a TV.

About the Artist
Aleksandra Cegielska, born in 1985 and based in Basel, Switzerland, is a self-taught artist of Polish heritage. Her body of work is a testament to her observations, offering vibrant explorations of non-conforming silhouettes, shapes, and colors. Cegielska views the intricate relationship between the body and mind as paramount, drawing inspiration from her surroundings and personal encounters to create art that serves as a bridge between individual experiences and universal themes.
