  • About the Vinyl

Mythen der Nachwelt by Arera Lv is the original soundtrack accompanying the multidisciplinary art project by Cosimo Wunderlin. Released as a limited double vinyl edition of 150 machine-numbered copies, the album extends the exhibition beyond the visual realm into a dense atmospheric composition of sound, tension, and cinematic fragmentation.

Blending experimental electronic music, ambient textures, lo-fi structures, orchestral elements, score composition, and techno influences, the soundtrack operates less as accompaniment and more as an autonomous narrative layer. Composed by Raphael Luca Fluri, the work mirrors the exhibition’s unstable temporal logic, somewhere between memory, simulation, ritual, and speculative future.

Pressed on one black and one snow-white 12” 140g vinyl and housed in gatefold covers featuring artwork by Cosimo Wunderlin, the release functions simultaneously as soundtrack, artefact, and extension of the fictional universe constructed within Mythen der Nachwelt.

  • About the Artist

Cosimo Wunderlin (b.1992 in Bern, Switzerland) works across multiple media with a consistently conceptual approach. Rooted in painting, his practice expands through illustration, animation, sound, and graphic elements, allowing traditional and contemporary techniques to coexist within a single visual language. By merging old and new processes, Wunderlin continuously develops new forms and narrative strategies.

His works are characterized by dark, atmospheric color palettes enriched with references to film, comics, and self-designed typographic elements. Recurring motifs include futuristic figures, objects, and abandoned or transitional spaces that hint at speculative, often dystopian worlds. Many paintings resemble cinematic stills, creating a strong sense of narrative tension, while others lean into surrealism and remain deliberately open to interpretation.
