  • About the Artist

    Matthieu Crimersmois was born in 1983 and is a visual and sound artist based in Basel and Paris. Having studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Nantes and Concordia University in Montreal, his journey led him to invent the groundbreaking concept of ARTABLISM, merging contemporary art with turntablism to create captivating multisensory installations. His art has been featured in prestigious exhibitions like "Le Chant des Machines" at Gallery BS in Paris, curated by Nicolas-Xavier Ferrand, and "CCA Glasgow," curated by Frederic Mathevet. Additionally, the "Galerie Michel Journiac, Université Sorbonne," curated by Veronique Verstraete, and "ANTRE PEAUX" in Bourges, curated by David Legrand, showcased his thought-provoking creations. Matthieu's pioneering work has been recognized in various books, including "L'art sonore - Le son dans les arts plastiques contemporains" by Jean-Yves Bosseur, "L'art et la Lettre" by Audrey Dauxais, and "Philosophie et art numérique - Un monde extraterrestre" by Martine Bubb. With a profound impact on the intersection of art and sound, he continues to challenge artistic norms and push the boundaries of creative expression. He has been an active member of the artist-run space Plateforme - Paris since 2018, and has been regularlycurating group exhibitions.

    Domestic and international shipping are determined by the size of the artwork. Eleven Ten Studio ships artworks to Switzerland and European Union countries. 

    Swiss sales tax will be added at the checkout. Purchasers are responsible for any local customs, duties and local taxes.

    Original artworks are non-returnable unless they do not arrive in good condition. Artworks should arrive in good condition.
